About Ellen Fisher

Ellen Fisher is currently the director of Newton Open Studios: over 160 artists and craftspeople, hosting annual community events each May and November. She has been a member of NOS since 2002.

Ellen has a Master of Fine Arts degree from Tufts and the Museum School, in MA.

Her work ranges from functional and sculptural ceramics to photography to murals.

Before launching her mural business, she worked for many years in the graphic design field, and still does graphic design work for Newton Open Studios and other clients.
